UTILITY BILLS
Bills are sent out on the first of each month and must be paid on or before the 25th. Water/Sewer/Trash service requires a $100 non-refundable connection fee. Bills may be paid at the Community National Bank or City Hall. There is a drop box on the front of City Hall.

TRASH SERVICE/RECYCLE SERVICE
The trash is picked up on Thursday’s beginning at 6:00 a.m. No yard waste will be picked up. Recycle carts are picked up every other Thursday. Do not use the recycle cart for regular trash. It is a good idea to get carts to the curb the night before as sometimes the route starts early on Thursday.
DOG TAGS & OTHER ANIMAL LAWS
All dogs in the City must be tagged. Upon providing proof of current rabies shots, a tag can be obtained at the city office. There is no charge for a City dog tag. There is a leash law in the City that requires dogs to be on a leash if they are outside a fenced yard. The City has an ordinance prohibiting Pit Bull dogs as well as other animals that may be vicious from being kept in the City and prohibits the harboring or keeping of Pot-Bellied Pigs or most other animals and livestock in the City.

Limb Pile: The limb pile is at 220 N. Kansas Street and is for residents only.
